ISPNE 2023

Two PhD students from our lab, Evie and Nina, went to London for the conference of the International Society of Psychoneuroendrocrinology (ISPNE). This conference took place from the 30th of August to 1st of September.

Evie presented a poster from her study on the BIBO cohort. With this study she investigated whether cellular aging in childhood is linked to brain morphology in early adolescence.  Nina was part of a symposium called Love and Stress, where she presented data from the SMILEY cohort about mother-infant stress contagion. She looked at the effect of an acute maternal stressor on maternal caregiving behavior and infant stress response. Futhermore, Nina also followed a workshop about analyzing diurnal cortisol data.
Overall it was a great experience and nice to share our results and connect with researchers from all over the world.
