On Sunday, July 19th, one of our PhD students, Ciske Jansen, gave a talk at Radboud Wetenschappen. The event, held at Stadseiland Stek at WonderWaal as part of the first day of the Vierdaagse festivities, brought together speakers from Radboud University to share insights on a range of fascinating topics related to the development of children and adolescents.

Ciske’s talk focused on the history of skin-to-skin contact research and its protective effects on children’s early development. His presentation was a great success! He introduced the audience to the role of skin-to-skin contact in both hospitalized and non-hospitalized children and shared findings from our lab’s SKIPPY project, in which he is currently involved in its latest phase.
