Carolina de Weerth was interviewed by the UWV (Uitvoeringsinstituut Werknemersverzekeringen) about the expansion of parental leave in the Netherlands. She believes that there should be more initiatives to make parental leave more accessible for both parents and employers. It is important that employees can take longer parental leave when a baby is born. But employers should also be able to give them that freedom.
