10 January 2020

On January 10 we organized the third edition of the symposium “Pregnant women and babies: from theory to practice”.
We were very pleased to welcome such a broad audience, consisting of many different professionals, such as midwives, gynecologists, nurses, researchers, maternity carers and lactation specialists. The topics of the presentations were diverse and included the baby brain, skin-to-skin contact, maternal mood complaints during pregnancy, breast milk composition, excessive crying, and the role of gut microbes in development.
Thanks to the great enthusiasm and involvement of the audience, as well as the informative and innovative talks, it was a tremendous success!
