And the Radboud Team Science Award 2025 goes to… the BIBO study!

We are proud to announce that the BIBO team, part of the Developmental Psychobiology Lab, has received the Radboud Team Science Award 2025 for our long-term research into how early environmental factors shape children’s health and development.

For almost twenty years, we have been following families to better understand babies’ and children’s mental and physical health and well-being. This award recognizes the dedication of our entire team in building one of the longest-running studies of its kind.

The jury praised the unique collaboration across disciplines, with both national and international researchers, as well as the impressive list of publications and relevant findings. They highlighted our strong teamwork, where everyone contributes—from students to senior researchers.

We were honored to receive personal congratulations from the rector of Radboud University, who visited our lab to mark this achievement. It was a meaningful moment that affirmed our shared commitment to high-quality research, collaboration, and scientific integrity.

We warmly thank all team members, participants, and collaborators who made this milestone possible. Together, we look forward to building on this success in the years ahead.
