Zuzanna Gryn

I am a second year student of Cognitive Neuroscience Research Master with specialisation in Development and Lifelong Plasticity. I am interested in the effects of prenatal maternal stress on child development, especially focusing on the influence on mental health in adolescents.

During my internship at the Developmental Psychobiology Lab, I help with ongoing studies, as well as some administrative tasks. For my own project, I am analysing data from the BIBO study, including the most recent 18-year wave. I am investigating the relationship between the prenatal maternal stress and the development of stress, anxiety and depression in adolescents at 16 and 18 years. The secondary goal of my study is to see whether there are sex-dependent differences in the response to prenatal stress.
