Johanna Lazier – Master student

Johanna Lazier

My name is Johanna, and I am currently in my second year of the Master’s program in Cognitive Neuroscience, focusing on development and lifelong plasticity. As part of my program, I am completing my internship and Master’s thesis at the DPB Lab. For my thesis, I investigate the effects of prenatal maternal stress and lifestyle behaviors on child growth. During my internship, I work on a number of different tasks, including data collection for the SMILEY project.

More generally, I am interested in neurodevelopmental conditions and nonpharmacological interventions. For instance, I am particularly fascinated by the therapeutic potential of music, which is why I plan to further explore research in the field of neurologic music therapy in the future.
