Jennifer Meijer – Master student

Jennifer Meijer

Ever since I was little, I wanted to understand the science behind life. That is why I started the bachelor’s in medical biology some years ago. During my bachelor’s I was intrigued by neuroscience and all its facets. Currently I am following the master’s in biomedical sciences, focused on research and neuroscience. One of my main interests is the effect of environmental factors (e.g., the mother, diet, and exercise) on the brain, in health and disease. As an intern at the DPB lab I will analyze a microbiome dataset from the SKIPPY study, while also assisting the data collection for the SMILEY and GoBaby study.
