Evie Brinkman

During my bachelor internship I learned about the effects of different life experiences on the cognition and brain later on in life. During this project I found out I really enjoyed studying the effect of life experiences on the brain and decided to further investigate this. Rather than looking at how experiences across the lifespan effect the aging brain I wanted to investigate how early life experiences have an impact on the developing brain. Therefore, I’ll be looking at the effect of accelerated aging due to early life adversity on brain connectivity in the BIBO sample this year. ​
