Dafna Windhorst

My research fields of interest are psychobiology and pedagogics.  Previously, I studied the influence of parenting behavior on children, but also effects of parenting support such as  (preventive) parenting interventions provided by youth health care organizations. 

My current project is a collaboration between Radboudumc and TNO (the Netherlands Organisation for applied scientific research). My colleagues and I will study the effectiveness of the Shantala Babymassage intervention in vulnerable families. We will investigate whether this intervention has effects on stress levels of parents, parental sensitivity and child growth and development.
